I'm Kory. Designer, artist, laugher! Thanks for stopping by.
As a young and enthusiastic creative looking to make life more fun and delightful, Kory has extended his artistic intuition and talents from his childhood days of constant drawing to a career in design and social progress. He earned his BFA from the Lamar Dodd School of Art at the University of Georgia, and is now an Associate Creative Director at Nebo.
With previous experience at a full-service agency in Atlanta, in-house at a progressive social-change company based in San Francisco, and also as a freelancer throughout high school, college, and in the "real world," Kory has devised successful strategies for his partners and clients. He has designed ad campaigns, brand identities, motion graphics, web designs, and interactive newsletters. Along with work some of his side projects include collaborating with WonderRoot Film to help create the look for the quarterly Local Film Series for a year-long partnership. Kory's interest in art, social awareness, film, and technology also fuels his desire to experiment with personal short videos, GIFs, brainstorming with his significant other about sci-fi comic storylines, self-teaching new skills in web design and coding, and day-dreaming about a better tomorrow.
In recent years Kory has left his beloved rental home in Lake Claire and now owns his childhood home with his fiancé in Lawrenceville — where they can be found renovating the property in between binging the latest streaming phenomenon.
